Tommy Womack

An American singer, songwriter and guitarist.

The Nashville based singer writes and sings folk, rock, country.

Womack has a long history as a songwriter and as a musician with many bands and recording artists/acts, both defunct and active.

His songs relate to true life experiences which mainly are his own which are witty.

He was a member of a punk band “Government Cheese”. He also formed the band “Biz Quiz” with Will Kimbrough.

Womack has recorded four solo albums to date: Positively Na Na, Stubborn, Circus Town and (Tommy Womack Band) Washington D.C.. Womack’s latest album There, I Said It, was released to positive reviews in February 2007.

His next album is being mastered for release, as of January 2008.

He now plays bass with Todd Snier’s band with Will Kimbrough.
