Floyd Ashton

An American singer and member of the famed vocal group “The Tams”

They were originally formed in 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia.

They took their long lasting name from the Tam o’shanter style of hat that the group choose to wear on stage. Formed in 1952

The group are mainly known for their hit “What Kind of Boy Do You Think I Am”.

Floyd joined the group in 1960.He left in 1963.
